About

Client-Centered Care

Many of my clients come to therapy wanting to make meaningful changes, but feel stuck in patterns related to anxiety, relationships, stress, or past experiences. They may be navigating challenges in family, school, work, or life transitions—and are looking for a way to feel more grounded, resilient, and aligned with their choices. I work with adults, couples, and teens (16+) to help them process what feels stuck and move forward with greater clarity and emotional ease. My approach is client-centered, trauma-informed, and grounded in EMDR therapy, which helps the brain and body process unresolved experiences so symptoms like anxiety, overwhelm, and emotional reactivity can decrease at the root. I am an EMDR-certified therapist with additional training in somatic and attachment-focused approaches. This allows me to support clients working through trauma, grief, and transitions, as well as anxiety, depression, and PTSD. I also integrate Motivational Interviewing to help resolve inner conflict and support meaningful change. My work is informed by Brené Brown’s research on shame resilience, Kristin Neff’s work on self-compassion, and the Gottman Method for strengthening relationships. My background in university, wellness, integrative medicine, and perinatal mental health settings allows me to work with a diverse range of clients, including students, parents, and professionals. I provide a diversity-affirming, collaborative space where clients can explore their experiences, build resilience, and create lasting change.
